Hangover 1 Casino Scene
Chevron Gas Station - 1 Goodsprings Road, Jean, Nevada, USA (Gas n Gulp scene where Stu defends his wife's indiscretion with the bartender on cruise ship.). Re: Question about scene from The Hangover Posted by Fun Bunch on 12/30/09 at 1:53 pm to Walt OReilly The curly haired guy is the director, by the way. Hardwood Suite This impressive 10,000 ft 2. Suite is the ultimate man cave, with a basketball court, pool table, 11 TVs, and a full bar. There’s plenty of room to party, with space for up to 350 people, and sleeping space for your whole crew (up to 18 guests). Again, I believe you'll find that this scene does not exist in Las Vegas. It is most likely a composite of two, maybe three, pictures created in a computer to look like a real Las Vegas scene. Remember the casino that doesn't exist in the TV show Las Vegas? They have computers and digital cameras now. No, really, they do. Damn, too late.
I thought I had seen that guy before in another movie. I think he was wearing the same clothes he was wearing in Old School.

Directed Juno and Up in the Air.
Like a couple other people said, the guy in the elevator is Todd Phillips the director. He always makes cameos like that, that's the joke. Nothing more to it.

Showing off what I learned in college... it's called a Hitchcock, in reference to Alfred who always popped up for a second in his own movies.

Very cool, never heard it called that before. The best was Hitchcock's story that takes place in a life raft. He worked in his cameo by having his picture on the front of the newspaper they had with them. But I'm guessing you probably knew that since you knew the 'Hitchcock' term.

Actually, no, I didn't. I just remember the term Hitchcock from when I majored in Communications at SLU. I wonder if anyone still uses it as most of the younger generation probably aren't really familiar with him.
